🔍 Indian Air Force's Classified Missile Data for Sale on Dark Web

• On the 28th, classified data related to the Indian Air Force (IAF)'s surface-to-air missile systems, 'Akash' and 'Akash Prime,' was listed for sale on a dark web hacking forum.

✓ Akash & Akash Prime: Akash is a short- to medium-range surface-to-air missile system that constitutes a core component of the IAF and Army's air defense capability. Akash Prime is an upgraded variant of the Akash missile that incorporates improved high-altitude target interception capabilities.

• Threat actor 'Slepra' claims to possess approximately 2.5GB of highly sensitive missile data, including IAF regiment deployment details, contract and quantity information, and design specifications. The actor is offering the package for USD 4,000.

• Sample images shared as proof of compromise appear to include missile design specification documents and internal military correspondence outlining contract maintenance scopes.

🔍 Indonesian Army DB Leaked on Dark Web

• On the 26th, a dataset allegedly containing information linked to the official Indonesian Army web domain mabesad.mil.id and associated WordPress account credentials was leaked on the dark web hacking forum 'DarkForums.'

✓ Mabesad: abbreviation of Markas Besar Angkatan Darat and refers to the Indonesian Army's highest military strategic command led by the Army Chief of Staff.

• Sample data posted by the hacker 'azraelzer0d4y' appears to include not only rank and file user accounts but also administrator account information. The actor did not specify a price and instead allowed users to freely download the full dataset via an external link.

• According to analysis conducted with S2W's user-profiling tool, in the same month, the actor also leaked a government DB and an army DB of two different South American nations on 'DarkForums' and another hacking forum 'PwnForums.'

🔍 Taiwan's Hsinchu City Government Website Taken Down by DDoS Attack

• On the 27th, a Telegram channel named 'BD Anonymous' reported that the Hsinchu City Government website in Taiwan had been taken offline following a DDoS attack.

✓ Hsinchu City: the third-largest city in Taiwan in terms of population density and widely known as Taiwan's 'Silicon Valley,' hosting leading global technology companies.

• The hacktivist group stated that Taiwan's pro-Israel stance was the primary motive behind the attack and shared a screenshot of the website outage as evidence.

➢ Disruption of a local government website can delay administrative processes such as permits and civil service requests, which in turn may indirectly affect import–export related administrative procedures and infrastructure-linked operations for local companies.
